Mrs. Sathya Mani Thangaraj is a Civil Engineer who has completed her Masters in Environmental Engineering from the University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom. She is the holder of one of the most prestigious scholarships award- the British Chevening Scholarship Award for her Masters in the U.K. She has worked as an Environmental Consultant in Muscat and India. She took charge recently as the Academic Director of APC in June 2018.

She oversees several aspects of education quality and teaching delivery in APC. Review meetings are conducted after every assessment and model exams to keep her academic team on track so that APC’s academic strategy is a success. She ensures that the staff performances are at its best and fair workload allocation processes are in place. She ensures that student grievances if any are met and that the students are also included as appropriate in the various decision-making processes within the institution.

She believes Education is Power and APC does not want to simply produce educated young people but students who can identify and resolve challenges within their own societies and contribute to the greater good of society. She strongly believes that students are the very foundation of any institution. She hopes that the institution achieves the highest possible standards of academic excellence.
